Lubricate
    Doors
      Check that doors move smoothly without abnormal noise. Wipe off dirt and coat with engine oil as needed.
Inspect/Adjust
    Clutch Pedal Assembly
      Check clutch pedal free travel, adjust as needed.
Check
    Wheel Bearing
Inspect
    Wheels
      Inspect each wheel disc for dents, distortion and cracks. Disc in badly damaged condition must be replaced.
    Suspension
      Tightness, damage, rattle, breakage.
    Steering
      Tightness, damage, breakage, rattle.
    Shift Linkage, M/T
      Check that gear shift control lever moves smoothly, without abnormal noise. Lubricate lever seat and shaft bushings with water resistant chassis grease as needed.
    Shift Linkage, A/T
      Check that gear shift control lever moves smoothly, without abnormal noise. Lubricate lever seat and shaft bushings with water resistant chassis grease as needed.
    Power Steering
      If equipped.
    Parking Brake System
      Check tooth tip for damage or wear - replace as needed. Check brake lever for proper operation and stroke (36-5 notches with 44 lbs pull pressure) and adjust as needed.
    Fuel Tank
      Check for loose connections, deterioration or damage which could cause leakage. Make sure all clamps are secure.
    Fuel Supply Line
      Check for loose connections, deterioration or damage which could cause leakage. Make sure all clamps are secure.
    Fuel Filler Cap
      Check cap and cap gasket for deterioration/damage. Check cap gasketfor an even filler neck imprint.
    Fluid - A/T
    Engine
      Inspect engine wiring harness.
    Drum Brake System
      Drums and Shoes - wear, damage.
    Drive Belt
      Check for cracks, wear and fluid contamination. Adjust tension if necessary.
    Disc Brake System
      Discs and Pads - thickness, wear, damage.
    Constant Velocity Joint Boot
      Check for damage and leaks.
    Brake Pedal Assy
    Brake Hose/Line
      leakage, damage, clamps tight.
Replace
    Timing Belt
    Spark Plug
    Oil Filter, Engine
    Ignition Cable
    Fuel Filter
    Fluid - M/T
    Engine Oil
    Coolant
    Brake Fluid
    Air Filter Element
      Replacement may be required more often in dusty conditions.
Rotate
    Tires
      At mileage interval only. Check tire for damage, debris and uneven wear. Adjust pressures as needed.
