Exhaust System: Description and Operation
The exhaust system consists of an exhaust manifold (including warm up three way catalytic converter if 4 equipped), an exhaust pipe, a muffler, a tail pipe and seals, gasket and etc., and the exhaust pipe have the three catalytic converter.
The three way catalytic converter is an emission control device added to the exhaust system to lower the levels of Hydrocarbon (HC), Carbon Monoxide (CO), and Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx) pollutants in the exhaust gas.
THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER REQUIRES USE OF UNLEADED FUEL ONLY.
