Removal and Installation






CAUTION:
- Do not remove or adjust throttle stop screw as it is factory adjusted precisely.
- Do not put finger or any other object into MAF sensor and keep away from net.
- Do not remove MAF sensor from throttle body. These spoil its original performance.

Removal
1. Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2. Drain cooling system.
3. Disconnect accelerator cable.




4. Disconnect IAT sensor connector and remove air cleaner outlet hose.




5. Disconnect couplers of TP sensor and MAF sensor.
6. Disconnect coolant hoses and breather hose from throttle body.
7. Remove throttle body from intake manifold.




Cleaning
Clean passages by blowing compressed air.

NOTE:
- MAF sensor, TP sensor, or other components containing rubber must not be placed in a solvent or cleaner both. A chemical reaction will cause these parts to swell, harden or get distorted.
- Don't put drills or wires into passages for cleaning. It causes damages in passages.

Installation



1. Clean mating surfaces and install throttle body gasket to intake manifold.
Use new gasket.




2. Install throttle body to intake manifold and tighten bolts.
3. Connect coolant hoses and breather hose.
4. Connect couplers of TP sensor and MAF sensor.




5. Install air cleaner outlet hose and clamp securely.
6. Connect intake air temperature sensor connector securely.




7. Connect accelerator cable and adjust each cable play to specification.
8. Refill cooling system.
9. Connect negative cable at battery.
