Oil Seals, Snap Ring and Wheel Bearing
REMOVE OIL SEALS, SNAP RING AND WHEEL BEARINGOnce bearing outer race is removed, bearing set (outer race, bearings and inner races) should be replaced with new one.
^ Remove outside oil seal, snap ring, outside bearing, inside oil seal and inside bearing in that order.

NOTE:
^ To remove inside oil seal, insert flathead screwdriver or the like through wheel sensor installation hole as shown.
^ In case of ABS equipped vehicle, remove wheel speed sensor before removing inside oil seal.
^ Remove bearing outer race using special tool (G), and hydraulic press.

INSTALL OIL SEALS, SNAP RING AND WHEEL BEARING
When replacing bearing, inner race or outer race, be sure to replace them with new ones as a set.
^ Press-fit bearing outer race using special tools (C), (E) and (H).

^ After greasing (lithic grease) bearing outer race, bearings, inner race and oil seal lips, install them.
Inside Oil Seal
Drive in oil seal until its end contacts knuckle using special tool (E).
NOTE: When driving in oil seal, be careful not to deform or tilt it or not to cause damage to rubber part.

CAUTION: When installing inside oil seal of ABS equipped vehicle, align its hole to wheel speed sensor installation position of knuckle as shown.
Outside Oil Seal
Drive in oil seal until its end contacts snap ring using special tools (C), (E) and (H). As for its installing direction, refer to figure shown.
