Front Door Assembly Removal And Installation

Removal

1. Disconnect door harness couplers (3), and remove corrugation tube (1) from body (2).







2. Remove stopper pin upward by tapping it with hammer.







3. Using a jack, support door panel with a piece (2) of wood placed between jack (3) and panel.







4. Remove door assembly by loosening hinge mounting bolts.

Installation

Reverse removal sequence to install front door noting the following points.







- When weatherstrip is hardened, water leak may develop. In such case, replace it with new one.
- After installing, adjust door latch striker position by referring to Front Door Lock Assembly Removal and Installation so that door is positioned correctly.
