Headlamp: Adjustments

HEADLIGHT AIMING
Vertical and Horizontal Adjustment

NOTE: Unless otherwise required by local regulation, adjust headlight aiming according to the following procedure.

1. Make sure the following.
1. Place vehicle on a flat surface.
2. Adjust air pressure of all tires to a specified value respectively.
3. Move vehicle body up and down by hand.
4. Have someone (approx. 68 kg/150 lb) sit in driver's seat.




2. Open hood.
3. Adjust vertical aiming by turning vertical aiming gear. Bubble in indicator should be centered as shown illustrated.




4. If headlight assembly is replaced by new one, proceed to step 5). If not, adjust horizontal aiming by turning horizontal aiming gear until "O" mark comes to the center line.

5. Close hood.
