Scan Tool Data Definitions
Scan Tool Data DefinitionBack Up Volt (V): This parameter indicates the capacity of the backup condenser installed to maintain the ignition current (as much as possible) even when the power supply to SDM that ignites the inflator is shut off.
Battery Voltage (V): Battery voltage is an analog input signal read by SDM.
System ID (6ch/8ch): This parameter indicates the number of initiator circuits.
Driv A/B Ini Res (Driver air bag 1st stage initiator resistance (ohm): This parameter indicates the resistance of the driver's air bag (1st stage) initiator circuit.
Pass A/B Ini Res (Passenger air bag 1st stage initiator resistance) (ohm): This parameter indicates the resistance of the passenger's air bag (1st stage) initiator circuit.
Driv Preten Ini Res (Driver pretensioner initiator resistance) (ohm): This parameter indicates the resistance of the driver's seat belt pretensioner initiator circuit.
Pass Preten Ini Res (Passenger pretensioner initiator resistance) (ohm): This parameter indicates the resistance of the passenger's seat belt pretensioner initiator circuit.
Drive Sidebag Ini Res (Driver side air bag initiator resistance) (ohm): This parameter indicates the resistance of the driver's side air bag initiator circuit.
Pass Sidebag Ini Res (Passenger side air bag initiator resistance) (ohm): This parameter indicates the resistance of the Passenger's side air bag initiator circuit.
Driv A/B 2 Ini Res (Driver air bag 2nd stage initiator resistance) (ohm): This parameter indicates the resistance of the driver's air bag (2nd stage) initiator circuit.
Pass A/B 2 Ini Res (Passenger air bag 2nd stage initiator resistance) (ohm): This parameter indicates the resistance of the passenger's air bag (2nd stage) initiator circuit.
Driv seat position (Driver seat position): This parameter indicates the state of the driver's seat position.
Driv seatbelt Info (Driver seatbelt information): This parameter indicates the state of the driver's seatbelt.
Pass seatbelt Info (Passenger seatbelt information): This parameter indicates the state of the passenger's seatbelt.
Pass seatbelt reminder: ON: Command for passenger seatbelt reminder operation being output. OFF: Command for reminder operation not being output.
Pass A/B Cont (Passenger air bag control): This parameter indicates state of passenger seat occupant classification which is based on OCM signal.
Pass buckle Sw (Passenger seatbelt buckle switch): This parameter indicates the state of the passenger's seatbelt.
Passenger class (Passenger classification): This parameter indicates state of passenger seat occupant classification which is computed based on signal from weight sensors, seat position sensor and seat belt buckle sensor.
Total load value: This parameter indicates the value obtained by adding the values from all the sensors and converting it into weight.
** sensor input volt (FL, FR, RL and RR weight sensor input voltage): This parameter indicates output voltage of FR, FL, RR or RL weight sensor installed on passenger seat.
0 point value: This parameter indicates the sensor value provided when the passenger seat occupant classification system of the front passenger seat has executed rezeroing. When the above sensor input value is larger than thus indicated value, it means that a positive load is detected and when it is smaller, it means that a negative load is detected.
