Install new dome lamp assemblies in affected vehicles. Some affected vehicles may already have the new dome lamp installed. If a new dome lamp was installed at the port prior to shipment to your dealership a green dot was placed on the radiator core support, see picture below. Follow instructions below for removal and installation procedure.
The dealer has a VIN list of the specific vehicle that are affected and were shipped to your dealership prior to having a new dome lamp installed. In addition, this list includes owner information for those customers who have purchased an affected vehicle. This information is based on ASMC records at the time of mailing this bulletin.
Please contact the owners of these affected vehicles and arrange to have new dome lamps installed in their vehicles and install new domelamps in any vehicle still in inventory.
