Removal
1. Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
2. Drain engine coolant, and then disconnect heater hoses (1) from heater unit.
3. Remove heater unit mounting nuts (2).
4. Remove instrument panel.
5. Remove blower unit (1).
6. Disconnect connectors from the following parts.
- Temperature control actuator
- Air flow control actuator
- Blower motor controller
7. Remove drain hose (2) from vehicle body.
8. Remove heater unit (3) from vehicle body.
Installation
Reverse removal procedure to install heater unit noting the following instructions.
- When installing each part, be careful not to catch any cable or wiring harness.
- Fill engine coolant to radiator.
