Rear All Wheel Drive
Wheel Hub, Wheel Stud / Wheel Bearing Outside Inner Race Removal and InstallationRemoval
1) Hoist vehicle and remove wheel.
2) Remove spindle cap by hammering lightly at 3 locations around it so as not to deform or cause damage to seating part of cap.
3) Uncaulk drive shaft nut (1).
4) Pull up parking brake lever fully and remove drive shaft nut (1).
5) Release parking brake lever and remove brake drum.
6) Pull wheel hub (1) off by using special tools.

7) Remove hub bolts (1).
8) Remove wheel bearing inner race (1).

Installation
1) Install hub bolts.
2) Install outside inner race (1) to wheel hub (2) using special tool. Installing direction is as shown.
Special Tool

3) Apply grease to outside bearing, outside inner race and oil seal lip.
"A": Grease 99000-25010
4) Install wheel hub to knuckle by tightening drive shaft nut. Do not tap wheel hub.
5) Install brake drum (1).
6) Pull up parking brake lever fully and tighten new drive shaft nut (2) to specified torque.
Tightening torque
Drive shaft nut (a): 175 Nm (17.5 kgf-cm, 126.5 ft. lbs.)
7) Caulk (3) drive shaft nut (2).
WARNING: Be careful while caulking nut so that no crack will occur in caulked part of nut. Cracked nut must be replaced with new one.
8) Install wheel and tighten wheel nut to specified torque.
Tightening torque
Wheel nut 85 Nm (8.5 kgf-cm, 61.5 ft. lbs.)
9) Perform brake test.
