BLANK ECM FAILS TO PROGRAM

CONDITION:

ECM fails to program within a 5 minute time frame and Suzuki ECU Programming System (SEPS) shows an error code.

CAUSE:

Precautions shown below, which are also located in the operators manual for SEPS, have not been followed.

CORRECTION:

Please write down error code. Make sure all below precautions are followed and program the ECU again. If the ECM still fails to program please contact the S.M.A.R.T hotline (refer to Administrative Bulletin SA-02R for contact information).

NOTE:
If a part number appears which matches another vehicle model ECM during programming setup, please contact S.M.A.R.T hotline before continuing programming.
