Wiring Diagram
DTC Confirmation Procedure
NOTE:
Check that the following conditions are satisfied when using this procedure.
- Battery voltage > 10.5 V
1) Drive vehicle at 20 km/h (12 mile/h) or higher for 10 sec.
DTC Troubleshooting
1.
Was "CVT System Check" performed?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
Go to CVT System Check.
2. Sensor power supply voltage check
Turn off ignition switch and disconnect solenoid connectors.
Check for proper terminal connection to solenoid connectors.
If connections are OK, turn ignition switch to ON position.
Check that voltage between sensor power supply circuit (B1) and vehicle body ground is 5 V.
Is it in good condition?
YES
Go to Step 4.
NO
Go to Step 3.
3. Sensor power supply circuit check
Turn off ignition switch and disconnect TCM connectors.
Check for proper terminal connection to TCM connectors.
If connections are OK, check that sensor power supply circuit (B1) is as follows.
- Wiring harness resistance of sensor power supply circuit is less than 1 ohms.
- Insulation resistance of sensor power supply circuit is infinity between sensor power supply circuit and vehicle body ground.
- Insulation resistance of wire harness is infinity between sensor power supply circuit and each terminal at solenoid connector.
- Circuit voltage of sensor power supply circuit is 0 - 1 V with ignition switch in ON position.
Are they in good condition?
YES
Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck.
NO
Repair or replace defective wire harness.
4. Sensor ground circuit check
Turn off ignition switch and disconnect TCM and solenoid connectors.
Check for proper terminal connection to TCM and solenoid connectors.
If connections are OK, check that sensor ground circuit (B2) is as follows.
- Wiring harness resistance of sensor ground circuit is less than 1 ohms.
- Insulation resistance of sensor ground circuit is infinity between solenoid connector and vehicle body ground.
- Insulation resistance of wire harness is infinity between sensor ground circuit terminal and each terminal at solenoid connector.
- Circuit voltage of sensor ground circuit is 0 - 1 V with ignition switch in ON position.
Are they in good condition?
YES
Replace primary pressure / secondary pressure sensor (CVT assembly).
NO
Repair or replace defective wire harness.
