DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area
DTC Troubleshooting
1.
Was "Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Flow" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Flow Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Flow:Advanced Air Bag.
2. OCM power supply and ground circuit check
Check OCM power supply and ground circuit referring to Testing and Inspection OCM Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check:Advanced Air Bag.
Is it in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Repair OCM power supply or ground circuit.
3. DTC check
Connect scan tool to DLC with ignition switch turned OFF.
Turn ON ignition switch and check SDM for DTC.
Are there any DTC(s) B1311, B1312 or B1313?
YES -
Go to applicable DTC diag. flow.
NO -
Replace seat cushion built in OCM with sensor mat referring to Seat Cushion Built in OCM with Sensor Mat Removal and Installation Seat Cushion Built in OCM with Sensor Mat Removal and Installation:Advanced Air Bag.
NOTE:
Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
- Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Clear DTCs referring to DTC Clearance DTC Clearance:Advanced Air Bag
, if any.
- Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check:Advanced Air Bag
to confirm that the trouble has been corrected.
