Attached for your use please find the Toyota A/C Compressor Diagnosis Check Sheet. This check sheet has been developed to assist your dealership in diagnosing A/C compressor problems.
This form must be completed whenever an A/C compressor is replaced and should be returned with the compressor as per Warranty Bulletin 88-18.
Correct diagnosis is essential as warranty claims are subject to be debited if the parts returned are found not to be defective. Analysis has shown that 49% of all compressors returned are found to be free of material defects. This form should aid in the correct diagnosis of A/C compressor problems.
