1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove five instrument cluster finish panel attaching screws, then the panel, Fig. 22. If necessary, disconnect wiring connector from finish panel.
3. Remove instrument cluster attaching screws, then disconnect cluster wiring connectors and remove cluster.
4. If equipped, remove inclinometer hood attaching screws, then the hood. Remove inclinometer attaching screws, wiring connector and meter.
5. Remove glove compartment.
6. Remove side air duct by prying between duct and instrument panel with suitable screwdriver and releasing retaining clips.
7. If necessary, remove side air duct.
8. Remove two nuts, one bolt and five screws attaching instrument panel to cowl, then remove instrument panel.
