Lubricate
    Front Steering Knuckle
      Replace steering knuckle lube.
    Drive/Propeller Shaft
      4x4 pickups. Lubricate grease fittings where available. Lubricate slip joints. Tighten flange bolts.

      Adjust idle speed and fast idle speed.
Tighten/Torque
    Body and Frame
       Check and re-tighten nuts and bolts on the body and chassis.

      Check clearances and adjust if necessary.

      Inspect steering linkage. Lube as necessary.

      Check fluid level and condition.

      Check fluid level and condition.
    Fluid - Differential
      Check fluid level and condition.
    Fluid - A/T
      Check fluid level and condition.
    Exhaust System
      Check exhaust pipes and mountings.
    Evaporative Emission Control Canister
      California vehicles. Check fuel evaporative system, hoses and connections.
    Drum Brake System
      Check drums linings and wheel cylinders.
    Drive Belt
      Check for cracks, wear and fluid contamination. Adjust tension if necessary.
    Disc Brake System
      Check pads, calipers and discs.
    Constant Velocity Joint Boot
      Check boots for leaks and damage. Check boots for tears and leaks.
    Brake Hose/Line
    Ball Joint
      Inspect ball joints and dust boots.
Replace
    Spark Plug
    Oxygen Sensor
      Replace at 60,000 miles only.
    Oil Filter, Engine
    Fuel Filler Cap
      Replace gasket. Inspect filler neck for damage.
    Engine Oil
    Coolant
      Flush system, replace coolant. Check specific gravity for freezing point.
    Air Filter Element
      Extremely dusty conditions may require more frequent service of this component.
Clean/Repack
    Wheel Bearing
      Clean and repack front wheel bearings.
