Thermo Time Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect the electrical connector to the Cold Start Time Switch.
2. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between each terminal.

Checking The Cold Start Injector Time Switch Resistance:

Resistance:
STA - STJ: 30 - 50 ohms below 59°F (15°C)
70 - 90 ohms above 86°F (30°C)
STA - Ground: 30 - 90 ohms


3. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the Cold Start Time Switch.
4. Reconnect the electrical connector.
