Ignition Coil

Secondary Coil Test:

1. Connect one end of an ohmmeter to the high tension terminal of the ignition coil. Connect the other end of the ohmmeter to the (+) side of the ignition coil.

Secondary Resistance (Cold): 8.5k - 11.5k ohms

Coil Insulation Resistance:

2. Connect one end of an ohmmeter to the (+) coil terminal and the other end to the igniter body.

Insulation Resistance: Infinity

3. If secondary coil resistance value or the insulation resistance value is not within specifications, replace ignition coil.
