Ignition Lock: Service and Repair

Ignition Lock:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Turn ignition switch to ``ACC'' position.
3. Remove steering column covers.
4. Insert a small diameter rod into hole located on side of lock cylinder, then while holding down pin, remove lock cylinder, Fig. 6.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Ensure lock cylinder is in ``ACC'' position.
