Clutch Unit Removal

REMOVAL OF CLUTCH UNIT
1. REMOVE TRANSMISSION

HINT: Do not drain the transmission oil.






2. REMOVE CLUTCH COVER AND DISC
(a) Put matchmarks on the clutch cover and flywheel.
(b) Loosen the set bolts one turn at a time until spring tension is released.
(c) Remove the set bolts and pull off the clutch cover and disc.






3. REMOVE BEARING, HUB AND FORK FROM TRANSMISSION
(a) Remove the retaining clip pull off the bearing.
(b) Remove the fork and boot.
