Fuel Pressure Regulator Inspection

FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR INSPECTION
Check fuel pressure.
Fuel Pump & Circuit Testing

REMOVAL OF FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR
1. Remove rh engine service hole cover.
2. DISConnect vacuum hose and clamp.
3. DISConnect fuel return hose and clamp.
(a) Place a suitable container or shop towel under the pressure regulator.
(b) Disconnect the fuel return hose.




4. Remove the two bolts, and remove the pressure regulator.




INSTALLATION OF PRESSURE REGULATOR
1. Install pressure regulator:
(a) Apply a light coat of gasoline to a new 0-ring and install it to the pressure regulator.




(b) Install the pressure regulator with the two bolts.

Torque: 55 kg/cm (48 in.lbs., 5.4 Nm)

2. Connect fuel return hose.
3. Connect vacuum hose and clamp.
4. Install rh engine service hole cover.
