Throttle Position Sensor: Adjustments

TPS Retaining Screws:

1. Loosen TPS retaining screws.

TPS Adjustment:

2. Insert a .0325 in (0.83 mm) thickness gauge between throttle stop screw and lever.

3. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals IDL and E2.

TPS Rotation:

4. Gradually turn the sensor clockwise until the ohmmeter deflects.

TPS Retaining Screws:

5. Tighten TPS retaining screws.
