Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Testing and Inspection

1. Unplug the connector from the EFI Main Relay, (located on the RH side of the engine compartment).
2. Using an Ohmmeter, check for continuity between terminals 1 and 3.

Testing EFI Relay - Current Removed:

3. Check that there is NO continuity between terminals 2 and 4.
4. Check that there is NO continuity between terminals 3 and 4.
5. If not as specified, replace the EFI Main Relay.
6. Apply battery current across terminals 1 and 3.

Testing EFI Relay - Current Applied:

7. Using an Ohmmeter, check for continuity between terminals 2 and 4.
8. If operation is not as specified, replace the EFI Main Relay.
9. Remove the battery leads and reconnect the relay.
