Overdrive Solenoid

Connector ID:

- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminal 1 and body.

Resistance: 11 - 15 ohms

- Apply battery voltage to the solenoid.

Checking Solenoid Operation:

- Check that the solenoid operation sound is heard.
- If there is foreign material in the solenoid valve, there will no fluid control even with solenoid operation.

Solenoid Inspection:

- Check that the solenoid valve does not leak when low-pressure compressed air is applied.
- Supply battery voltage to the solenoid, check that the solenoid valve opens.
