Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

DISASSEMBLY

NOTE: Before disconnecting battery ground, access trouble codes and radio presets. Control unit memory is erased when ground is removed.

1. Remove negative terminal cable from battery.
2. Disconnect hoses and electrical connector.





3. Remove air cleaner cap and remove Air Flow Meter from cap.
^ Remove the bolt, four nuts and washers, Volume Air Flow Meter and gasket.

ASSEMBLY

1. Install the Volume Air Flow Meter to the air cleaner cap.
^ Install the gasket, Volume Air Flow Meter, four nuts and washers, and bolt.
2. Install the air cleaner cap and secure.
3. Install hoses and the electrical connector.
4. Reconnect the negative terminal cable at the battery.
