INSPECTION

Oxygen Sensor Heater Resistance Inspection





1. Using an ohmmeter measure the resistance between the terminals +B and HT.

Resistance: 5 - 7 ohms at 20°C (68°F).

2. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor.

Feedback Voltage Inspection





1. Warm engine up to operating temperature.
2. Connect a voltmeter to the DLC1 terminals VF1 and E1. When called for in the test, use a jumper wire to connect between terminals TE1 and E1.
