Heated Oxygen Sensor

REMOVAL

1. Allow the engine and exhaust system to cool down completely before continuing.
2. Disconnect the electrical terminal at the Heated Oxygen (HO2) Sensor.
3. Being careful not to break off the bolts, remove the two fastening nuts and remove the HO2 Sensor and gasket.

NOTE: Do not use rust penetrant fluid unless absolutely necessary. the silicone in the fluid may contaminate the HO2 Sensor if contacted.

INSTALLATION

1. Replace the gasket and install the HO2 Sensor.
2. Install the nuts and washers and secure.
3. Reconnect the electrical connector.
