Impact Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Disarm SRS as outlined under Air Bag System Disarming and Arming.
2. Remove upper console panel, rear console box, console panel garnish, ash tray, heater control panel and center cluster finish panel, Fig. 73.

3. Disconnect air bag sensor assembly connector.
4. Remove air bag sensor assembly mounting screws with suitable Torx wrench, then remove assembly.
5. Reverse procedure to install and tighten mounting screws to specifications.
