Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove air cleaner cap with volume air flow meter assembly.
- Disconnect the volume air flow meter connector.
- Disconnect the air intake connector.
- Remove the air cleaner cap.
2. Remove volume air flow meter from air cleaner cap.
- Pry off the lock plate and remove the 4 nuts and washers, lock plate, volume air flow meter and gasket.

INSTALLATION
1. Install volume air flow meter to air cleaner cap.
- Install the volume air flow meter with the gasket, lock plate, washers and 4 nuts.
- Bend the lock plate onto the nut.
2. Install air cleaner cap and volume air flow meter assembly.
- Install the air cleaner cap.
- Connect the air intake connector.
- Connect the volume air flow meter connector.
