Vehicle Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection

NO. 1 Speed Sensor Inspection




1. Connect the positive lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative lead to terminal 2.
2. Connect the positive lead from the voltmeter to terminal 3 and negative lead to terminal 2.
3. Rotate shaft.
4. Check that there is voltage change from approximately 0 volts to 11 volts, 4 times for every revolution of the shaft.
