T100 EXTRA CAB TVSS INSTALLATION SUPPLEMENT

When installing the TVSS system on the new T100 Extra Cab Vehicles, the ECU should be mounted under the driver's side rear seat cushion. Please use the following supplemental installation instructions to complete the TVSS installation:

MOUNTING THE TVSS ECU

STEP ONE




1) Pull up the driver's side rear seat cushion.
2) Carefully pull the carpet back, exposing the storage cover.
3) Remove the storage cover, as shown in "Figure A".

STEP TWO




1) Cover the edge of the opening in the metal storage compartment with foam tape, as shown in "Figure B".
2) Route the 26P TVSS ECU Connector behind the seat belt anchor and through the opening into the metal storage compartment.

STEP THREE

1) Measure and mark the ECU mounting location on the floor board of the vehicle (inside the metal storage compartment). Be certain that the spare tire jack does not interfere with the ECU.

NOTE:




The ECU mounting brackets should be placed next to the floor molding protrusion, as shown in "Figure C".

STEP FOUR

NOTE:
Before placing the butyl tape in position, be certain to clean the surfaces that the butyl tape is to be applied to.




1) Attach one side of the butyl tape to the back side of the ECU mounting bracket, as shown in "Figure D".
2) Peel the remaining cover off the butyl tape and affix the ECU mounting bracket to the vehicle's floor at the position marked in STEP THREE (See "Figure C")

STEP FIVE




1) Attach the two pieces of hook & loop fastener to the back side of the ECU. (See Figure E)
2) Mount the ECU onto its bracket.

STEP SIX




1) Connect 26P TVSS ECU connector to the TVSS ECU.
2) Test all functions of the TVSS.
