Fig. 8 Exploded View Of Instrument Panel & Components:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect anti-theft systems as outlined under Technician Safety Information.
3. Remove pillar garnish, scuff plate and cowl side trim.
4. Remove steering wheel and steering column covers.
5. Remove hood release lever, lower finish panels, lower center cover and glove compartment door, Fig. 8.
6. Remove combination switch and heater control knobs.
7. Remove center cluster finish panel, then remove radio and heater control.
8. Remove center cluster lower finish panel.
9. Remove dash cluster finish panel. Remove heating ducts and registers as necessary.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
