Fuel Pump Relay: Testing and Inspection

1. REMOVE LOWER FINISH NO.1 PANEL.
2. REMOVE CIRCUIT OPENING RELAY.
3. INSPECT CIRCUIT OPENING RELAY.
- Inspect relay continuity.





- Using and ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between terminals STA and E1.
- Check that there is continuity between terminals +B and FC.
- Check that there is no continuity between terminals +B and FP.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the relay.
- Inspect relay operation.





- Apply battery positive voltage across terminals STA and E1.
- Using an ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between terminals +B and FP.





- Apply battery positive voltage across terminals +B and FC.
- Check that there is continuity between terminals +B and FP.
If operation is not as specified, replace the relay.
4. REINSTALL CIRCUIT OPENING RELAY.
5. REINSTALL LOWER FINISH NO.1 PANEL.
