Shift Interlock Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect solenoid connector.
2. Using suitable ohmmeter, measure resistance between solenoid connector terminals, Figs. 33 through 40.

3. Resistance should be 12-17 ohms.
4. Apply battery positive voltage to key interlock solenoid terminals and ensure operating noise can be heard.
