Deployment Tool Inspection

Special SRS deployment tool No. 09082-00700, or equivalent, should be inspected for proper functioning as follows:
1. Connect tool's red clip to a fully charged 12 volt battery positive terminal, then black clip to battery negative terminal. Do not connect yellow SRS connector.
2. Press tool's activation switch and ensure LED lamp lights.
3. If lamp lights without pressing activation switch, a tool malfunction probably exists. Use another tool which passes inspection for deployment.
