BACK DOOR DISASSEMBLY
1. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM
(a) Insert the screwdriver, between the retainers and the door trim to pry it loose.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use

(b) Remove the door trim.
2. REMOVE PLATE
(a) Remove the 9 screws and the plate.
(b) Disconnect the connector.






3. REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS RUN
4. REMOVE OUTER WEATHERSTRIP
5. REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS
Remove the 6 bolts and door glass.
6. REMOVE WINDOW REGULATOR
Remove the window regulator mounting bolts.
Torque: 5.0 N.m (50 kgf.cm, 43 in..lbf)






7. REMOVE GLASS GUIDE RAIL LH AND RH
Remove the 4 bolts and guide rail.
Torque: 5.0 N.m (50 kgf.cm, 43 in..lbf
8. REMOVE LOCK CONTROL BELLCRANK
Remove the 2 nuts and bellcrank.
9. REMOVE BACK DOOR REMOTE CONTROL






10. REMOVE BACK DOOR GARNISH
(a) Using a scraper, pry loose the retainers.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Remove the nut and garnish.
11. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK CYLINDER
12. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK
Remove the 3 bolts and door lock.
Torque: 5.0 N.m (50 kgf.cm, 43 in..lb






BACK DOOR DAMPER STAY

REMOVE DAMPER STAY
Torque: 17.5 N.m (170 kgf.cm, 12 ft.lbf

NOTICE: When handling the damper;

(a) Do not disassemble the damper because the cylinder is filled with pressurized gas.

(b)8GIf the damper is to be replaced, drill a 2.O-3.0 mm (0.079.118 in.) hole in the bottom of the removed damper cylinder to completely release the high-pressure gas before disposing of it.
(c) When drilling, chips may fly out so work carefully.
(d) The gas is colorless, odorless and non-toxic.
(e) When working, handle the damper carefully. Never score or scratch the exposed part of the piston rod, and never allow paint or oil to get on it.
(f) Do not turn the piston rod and cylinder with the damper fully extended.

BACK DOOR REASSEMBLY
Reassembly is in the reverse order of disassembly.
