Rear
REPLACEMENT
1. Jack up the rear axle housing and support the frame with stands. Hold the rear axle housing with a jack.
2. If the vehicle came equipped with ABS, disconnect the ABS speed sensor wire harness from the upper suspension arm.
3. Remove the upper control arm by doing these procedures.
NOTE:
^ Remove the two nuts, washers and bolts holding the upper control arm and remove the upper control arm.
Installation Hint: After stabilizing the suspension, tighten the nut to 86 Nm (64 ft. lbs.).
4. Remove the lower control arm by doing the following.
NOTE:
^ Remove the two nuts and bolts holding the lower control arm and remove the lower control arm.
Installation Hint: After stabilizing the suspension, tighten the nut to 145 Nm (107 ft. lbs.).
5. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
