Oxygen Sensor: Testing and Inspection

HEATED OXYGEN SENSORS INSPECTION
INSPECT HEATER RESISTANCE OF HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR





- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals +B and HT.

Resistance: At 20°C (68°F): 11 - 16 ohm

- If the resistance is not as specified, replace the heated oxygen sensor.

HINT: Use a new gasket.

Torque: 20 N.m (14 ft.lb.)
