REAR SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL







1. DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR

2. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR

(a) Remove the clamp bolt, the clamp nut and the 5 clips holding the sensor wire harness from the axle and the fuel tank.

HINT:

- In installing the rear sensor wire harness, never use the removed resin clips, resin clips are service parts.

- When replacing clips, set up new resin clips at the same angle of removed resin clips.

- When removing a resin clip, take care so that the removing tool is not caught on the grommet or wire.

Torque: 13 N.m (130 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf)

(b) Remove the speed sensor from the axle carrier. Torque: 8 N.m (80 kgf.cm, 69 in..lbf)



REAR SPEED SENSOR INSTALLATION

- Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

NOTICE:
AFTER INSTALLATION, CHECK SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL, refer to "SPEED SENSOR AND DECELERATION SENSOR DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM" Section.
