Introduction





A field fix is available for incidents of washer fluid leakage from the rear washer nozzle onto the rear glass.

^ 1998 - 2000 model year Sienna.

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Repair Procedure





1. Open the back door. Locate the boot near the right door hinge, and gently loosen the boot from the door.

2. Slide the boot back to gain access to the washer hose located inside the boot.





3. Cut the hose in the middle.

NOTE:
Make sure the hose does not fall inside the boot.





4. Insert the valve (P/N 85031-90A00) into the hose.

NOTE:
Make sure the arrow on the valve is pointing toward the nozzle.

5. Reinstall the boot to the back door.

6. Operate the rear washer and check for proper spray.
