Introduction:
The following repair procedures were developed to help eliminate the potential for noises from the instrument panel area.

Affected Vehicles:

1998 MY Siennas with VINs before: 4T3ZF13C0WU080714





Parts Information

Repair Procedure:
Refer to the 1998 Sienna Repair Manual for detailed repair information.





1. Replace Retainer - Dash Panel Silencer (3x).

NOTE:
Previous parts (P/N 55217-08010) are blue in color, while current parts (P/N 55217.08011) are yellow.





2. Tape 5 pieces of felt sheet No.1 (25mm x 120 mm x 0.5 mm) to Insulator Assembly Dash Panel with double coated tape in the position shown.





Warranty Information:
This repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
