Disassembly and Assembly

DISASSEMBLY

1. Check hub bearings.
Clean the bearings and outer races and inspect them for wear or damage.





2. Remove bearing outer races.
Using Special Service Tool (SST) 09527 - 17011 or equivalent, a brass bar and a hammer, remove the bearing outer races.

NOTICE: Be careful not to damage the ABS speed sensor rotor.

REASSEMBLY





1. Install new bearing outer races.
a. Using SST 09527-17011, 09950-60010 (09951-00640), 09950-70010 (09951 -07150) and a press, install a new inside bearing race.
b. Using SST 09527-17011, 09950-60010 (09951-00490), 09950-70010 (09951-07150) and a press, install a new outside bearing race.

NOTICE: Be careful not to damage the ABS speed sensor rotor.
