Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Drain hypoid gear oil.
2. Remove rear axle shafts.
3. Disconnect rear propeller shaft.
4. Remove differential carrier assembly.
a. Remove the 10 nuts, washers and differential carrier assembly.

NOTICE: Be careful not to damage the installation surface.

Torque: 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
b. Remove the gasket.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal. After installation, fill differential with hypoid gear oil.
