Applicable Warranty*:

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's complaint.

Repair Procedures

1. Refer to Repair Manual, Page BO-14 and BO-15.

NOTE:
Both Control Junctions must be replaced.

2. Remove the body side and door side control junctions.

3. install new control junctions.

Tighten body side control junction bolts.

Install the sliding door control junction bolts finger tight so that the junction may be moved by tapping lightly with a mallet.

4. Fold a paper towel 4 times and insert over body side control junction connector.

5. Shut the sliding door with the paper towel between both control junction surfaces. This will realign the sliding door control junction mating surfaces so that they do not contact each other.

6. Carefully tighten the door side control junction bolts, while ensuring that the junction does not move.

7. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to confirm proper alignment.

NOTE:
If paper is torn, adjust door and junctions then repeat steps 4 through 7.
