Introduction

To reduce the possibility of unintentionally activating the power sliding door transmitter while the vehicle is parked, the force required to depress the Power Door button on the Door Control Transmitter has been increased.

Applicable Vehicles
^ 1999 - 2001 model year Sienna vehicles equipped with single power slide door built prior to the VIN listed below.

Repair Procedure





Replace the Door Control Transmitter and use the Rewrite mode programming procedure as described in the 2000 Sienna Repair Manual, Pages BE 81-84.





Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty*:

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
