Sliding Door: Description and Operation

The slide door can be opened/closed automatically by operating the power slide door control SW.

1. SWITCH OPERATION
Open operation

The slide door can be opened automatically when all of the following conditions are met;
* Power slide door main SW is ON
* Door position is in between fully or half way closed.
* Doors are unlocked when fully closed
* Shift lever is in P position when the ignition SW is ON.

(Shift lever is in any position when the ignition SW is OFF.)

Close operation
The slide door can be closed automatically when all of the following conditions are met;
* Power slide door main SW is OFF
* Door position is in between fully or half way open.

2. MANUAL OPEN/CLOSE OPERATION SUPPORT
When the slide door is opened/closed for a certain amount, the system begins to support the operation by switching to automatic operation. When fully closed, the system begins support when the handle is pulled.

The slide door can be opened when all of the following conditions are met;
* Power slide door main SW is ON.
* Doors are unlocked when fully closed.
* Shift lever is in P position when the ignition SW is ON.
(Shift lever is in any position when the ignition SW is OFF.)

The slide door can be closed when all of the following conditions are met;
* Power slide door main SW is ON.

3. JAM PROTECTION FUNCTION
When the system detects change in the operation speed due to any foreign objects being caught during close operation, it automatically reverses and/or stops the operation.

4. WARNING BUZZER
The warning buzzer goes ON and the indicator lamp in the combination meter blinks under the following conditions;
* Ignition SW is ON
* Slide door is open (Right side door)
* Shift lever is in the position other than P
* Power slide door main SW is ON
