Front Corner Window Glass: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. w/ Rear no.1 seat:
REMOVE REAR N0.1 SEAT
2. Except van:
REMOVE REAR N0.2 SEAT
3. REMOVE BACK DOOR SCUFF PLATE
Using a clip remover, remove the back door scuff plate.
4. REMOVE REAR LH QUARTER TRIM PANEL
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the speaker grille.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the quarter trim cover.
c. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear side trim board cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
d. Remove the luggage room light, then disconnect the connector.
e. Remove the 4 screws, clip and rear LH quarter trim panel.
5. REMOVE N0.2 LH REAR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the quarter pillar cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the 2 screws and No.2 LH rear window side garnish.
6. REMOVE LH REAR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH
a. w/ No.1 Rear seat belt:
Remove the No.1 rear seat outer belt shoulder anchor.
Torque: 43 N.m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
b. Remove the 2 clips and LH rear window side garnish.
7. REMOVE FRONT LH QUARTER TRIM PANEL
a. Remove the front seat outer belt floor anchor.
Torque: 43 N.m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
b. Remove the front LH quarter trim panel, then disconnect the power outlet connector and heater control cable.
8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE
9. REMOVE COWL SIDE BOARD
10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER
11. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the front pillar garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. w/ Tweeter speaker:
Disconnect the connector.
12. REMOVE UPPER LH CENTER PILLAR GARNISH
a. Remove the front seat outer belt shoulder anchor.
Torque: 43 N.m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
b. Remove the 2 clips and upper LH center pillar garnish as shown in the illustration.
13. REMOVE FRONT SIDE WINDOW
a. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and front side window.
b. Remove the screw and quarter window lock from the front side window.
14. REMOVE FRONT SIDE WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
