INTRODUCTION

The Room (Dome) Lamp Lens on some 2000 MY Tundra vehicles have poor retention to the assembly base. Production has been modified and a field fix developed.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

Should this condition be experienced, replace the lens only, NOT the entire assembly. The replacement lens will correctly fit the original base.





WARRANTY INFORMATION

APPLICABLE WARRANTY*:

This repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
