Clearing Trouble Codes

NOTE: This is the only information provided by the manufacturer for clearing diagnostic trouble codes for this system.

Clear the DTC.
When operating an OBDII scan tool (complying with SAE J1978) or TOYOTA hand-held tester to erase the codes, the DTCs and freeze frame data will be erased. (See the OBDII scan tool's instruction book for operating instructions.)
