Power Locks: Description and Operation
SYSTEM OUTLINE1. MANUAL UNLOCK OPERATION
When the door lock control SW of the driver's or passenger's side door is pushed to UNLOCK, the door lock will unlock.
2. MANUAL LOCK OPERATION
When the door lock control SW of the driver's or passenger's side door is pushed to LOCK, the door lock will lock.
3. DOOR KEY UNLOCK OPERATION
- Unlock operation from driver's side door
When the driver's side door is unlocked once using the ignition key, only the driver's side door is unlocked. If this operation is repeated within 3 seconds, all the other doors are unlocked.
- Unlock operation from front passenger's side door
When the front passengers side door is unlocked using the ignition key, all the other doors are unlocked, too.
4. AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCK
- The automatic door lock can be set and canceled according to the customer's request. Automatic door lock corresponding to the shift
- When the shift lever is moved from the P range, the doors are automatically locked. Automatic door lock corresponding to vehicle speed
- When the vehicle speed becomes faster than 20 km/h, the doors are locked automatically.
5. AUTOMATIC DOOR UNLOCK
- The automatic door unlock method can be selected by the customer. Automatic door unlock corresponding to ignition SW
- When the driver's door is opened within 10 seconds after the ignition SW is turned off, all the doors are unlocked automatically. Automatic door unlock corresponding to the shift lever
- When the shift lever is moved to the P range from other ranges, all the doors are automatically unlocked.
